In today's post i have a food stuff that i want you to take advantage of anytime and any day. That food item is called Garri. It is one of various kinds of products from Cassava roots. In order to process Garri, Cassava veil has to be peeled off the tubers and thoroughly washed with water. When this is completed the tubers are grinded, crushed or grated. After this process, it is packed in a bag and drilled until it is properly dried.
The drying process usually takes three days maximum. This is done to undo the roots of fresh liquid contents and enable fermentation, which makes the product better for consumption. When it is completely dried, the product is now sieved into small pieces and fried. The final processing that gets Garri ready for consumption is the frying of the product.
Garri looks dry, creamy, white, granular, crispy and yellow. It is a very popular food item in Nigeria. There are many people who do not fail to either soak or eat eba daily. Everyone in Nigeria is acquainted with the products. Just a few people in the Northern Nigeria may not have tasted the products. The item is a good food products that gives energy and strength. You can enjoy it by putting a small quantity into a plate, add cold drinkable water, some milk and a little sugar. No Nigerian will say no to the offer.
